What Your UI/UX Design Project Includes and What It Doesn't
Beyond the research, wireframes, and design system outlined above, every UI/UX engagement ships with the working files your team needs to move forward without waiting on us. You receive editable source files organized by screen and component, exportable assets in production-ready formats, and developer-ready specifications documenting spacing, states, typography, and interaction behavior. If your build team needs a walkthrough, we include a handoff session so nothing gets lost in translation.
You also own the output outright the files, components, and documentation are yours to keep, reuse, and extend across future work.
Here’s what sits outside a UI/UX design project, so there are no surprises later. We don’t write front-end or back-end code as part of this service; production build is handled through our separate Web Development Services. We don’t produce marketing copy, brand strategy, or logo design unless it’s scoped as an add-on. Stock photography, paid font licenses, and third-party tool subscriptions are billed to you directly rather than bundled in. Ongoing post-launch changes fall under a separate retainer.
Revisions are built into every phase you get 2 rounds of feedback per deliverable, so the design reflects your users rather than guesswork. Anything beyond that scope is quoted transparently before work begins. If you’re unsure whether a task falls inside or outside your project, the fastest answer is on our Contact Us page, or start a project brief and we’ll map the scope with you.
How Your Design Project Works, From First Contact to Delivery
The process section above covers how we design; this section covers how we work with you, from the first message to final handoff.
It begins when you reach out through Start a Project or the Contact Us page. Within 1–2 business days we schedule a discovery call to understand your product, your users, your timeline, and what success looks like. From that conversation we send a written proposal scope, deliverables, milestones, and a confirmed timeline usually within 2–3 business days, so you know exactly what you’re approving before anything begins.
Once you sign off and kickoff is booked, the research phase typically runs about a week for a focused feature and longer for a full product. Design and prototyping follow, and this is where most of the calendar time lives; plan for roughly two to four weeks depending on how many screens and flows are in scope.
You won’t be left guessing between updates. We share progress at the end of each phase and gather your input in structured review rounds instead of scattered messages, which protects momentum and cuts down on rework.
After testing and your final approval, we package everything for delivery and walk your team through the handoff. Start to finish, a typical UI/UX engagement lands in the four-to-eight-week range, though your real timeline always comes from the proposal rather than a generic estimate. Want yours? Start a project brief or reach us through Contact Us to book the discovery call.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does UI/UX design cost?
Every UI/UX design project is priced by scope, not a flat rate—a single-screen prototype costs far less than a full design system. Most engagements at Code Pixely start around $100, and we quote a fixed figure after a short scoping call. Start a Project and we’ll break down the cost against your goals.
How long does a UI/UX design project take?
Most projects run 1–2 weeks, depending on how many screens and flows are involved. Our four-stage process Research, Wireframe, Prototype, Test moves in order, so a focused feature ships faster than a multi-platform product. We share a milestone schedule at kickoff and give you a working prototype to review before final handoff.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Very little to begin. Share your product goals, target users, and any existing brand assets or research you already have logos, competitor notes, analytics. If you don’t have user data, that’s fine; our User Research stage gathers it. The clearer you are about who you’re serving, the more centered and effective the design becomes.
What happens after the design is finished?
You receive complete, developer-ready deliverables: a design system and UI kit, user flows, and interactive prototypes your team can build from directly. Code Pixely also offers web development services, so we can carry the same designs straight into a working product. Reach out through About Us or Contact if you’d like ongoing design support after launch.
